The Crossing with Nathalie Joachim

Holding three Grammy awards, Philadelphia’s The Crossing is celebrated as the originator of a new canon of American choral music. For What Now: 2026, their conductor, Donald Nally, will commission a new piece from composer Nathalie Joachim, Haitian-American, Grammy-nominated performer artist hailed for being “a fresh and invigorating cross-cultural voice.” The new piece will be presented with selections of the Crossing’s repertory creating a historical retrospective of their unique body of music.
